From 10 November 2025, you’ll get £200 if you switch to us from another bank using the Current Account Switch Service. This is only available for some of our current accounts.
To be eligible for the offer, within 60 days of your initial switch request, you must:
• complete the switch using the CASS, which includes closing the account not held with us
• have at least 2 active selected household Direct Debits on your Santander account.
• pay in at least £1,500.
We can't offer this if you held a current account with us on 1 January 2025. Or, if you've received a Santander switcher incentive before.

How will I get my payment?
60 days after you submit your initial switch request, we’ll check to make sure you're eligible. We'll then pay £200 into your qualifying account within the next 30 days. Put simply, it will take around 90 days from your initial request to get your £200 - as long as you meet the eligibility criteria.
If the qualifying account is a joint account, and you’re eligible for the payment, then we’ll make 1 payment of £200. You won’t get £200 each.
If we stop this offer before your switch completes, you’ll still get the £200 as long as you're eligible.

This offer applies to switcher requests received between 10 November 2025 and the date the offer is withdrawn.

To be eligible for the Private Current Account (v2) you need to:
- be 18 or over and live in the UK permanently
- meet the Santander Private eligibility criteria (have investments or savings over £500,000 or a gross annual income in excess of £250,000).
- only hold a maximum of two Private Current Account (v2) and Santander Edge Up current accounts, one in your own name and one in joint names.
There is a £5 monthly fee to maintain the account. You'll need to pay £1,500 a month into your Private Current Account (v2) to get cashback and interest. Any interest paid, and payments between Santander personal accounts you’re named on won't count towards this. You also need to have 2 active Direct Debits on the account.
