Time, patience and persistence.
Ever since the Global Financial Crisis, the consequences for savers and investors have been profound. Policymakers slashed interest rates to near zero and printed vast quantities of new money to support our financial way of life. However, in the last two years, with the return of inflation, this approach has been reversed in the blink of an eye, bringing interest rates closer to historic norms. However, does this mean investing for the longer term has become unattractive?
